Historic cafe but I would not touch their steak. Our group ordered 5 steaks and they were all flavorless and beyond well done when we asked for medium-rare.

The staff is kind and attentive. The food is nice. The ambiance classy. I suggest more bilingual waiters (English/Portuguese) to make foreign patrons feel more comfortable.

Staff was polite, especially the lady that was serving our table was very friendly. Location is also good, it’s situated in touristic area. But the food??! Dear Lord avoid food there. Probably if you looking for simple coffee ( but don’t expect anything special like soy milk, so no for vegan people ) or simple drink you can try that place. In every other condition I️ would advise to avoid that place.
The breakfast I️ ordered there wasn’t fresh, me and my friend were suffering from food poisoning from that place.
I️ myself, work in a restaurant industry back in my country and I️ really wonder what kind of people serve old not fresh food?
That’s should be a crime considering the fact that it completely ruined our trip to Buenos Aires and all of us are unable to visit and explore this great city(I️ suppose)response / report this review -

Hello everyone! Normally I don’t write any reviews because many times I am happy with the good service and good food. Although this time I really need to leave something due to awful food poisoning.
I will never come back to this place, nor will recommend it to anyone.
I came there on Saturday afternoon and ordered salmon sandwich. After all I spent entire night and next day ( last day of my vacation in Argentina) in bathroom. I am pretty sure the food I ordered wasn’t fresh
Thanks to London City for destroying my trip. Hope to never have similar experience ever again.response / report this review -

Just had lunch at this place, and not sure why people rate it so highly.
Agree that this is a good location to people watch, but the food is pub grub.

This place is cool and definitely worth popping in for a coffee and cake, or as we did a hot chocolate and cake. The Lemon Tart was exceptional and the rich hot chocolate is amazing. When you hit by that late afternoon lull go and get your sugar hit here. The portion size is massive so you can probably just share one piece.

Good coffee and pastries, and service is good but a little bit slow. Nice atmosphere inside of the cafe. Prices here are higher than in other neighbors cafe.
