This was an amazing hostel. The entire staff were very helpful for suggesting activities and helped me when they didn't have any room for me because of my poor planning. I met a lot of amazing people here- all wanting to explore around the area. The hostel is not convenient to town, but honestly you're closer to the areas you should be exploring anyway.

I'm glad I booked at Green house hostel. Locate right by the lake. Owner and staffs especially Bruna and Thomas are very nice and helpful. There's a bar where you can enjoy good beer and watch football game. I'd recommend :)

Espectacular Hostel en frente del Lago. La atención es de primera y las vistas desde la sala común acompañadas por buena música, mejores.
A pocos metros hay una panadería y a 3 cuadras un supermercado y una cervecería para ir a comer.
Justo en frente del hotel hay paradas de colectivo para ir al centro de Bariloche, al cerro Catedral o Circuito Chico. Si estás en auto, hay estacionamiento.
Los cuartos son cómodos y limpios. Hay habitaciones privadas y compartidas.
Santiago y Brian hacen todo lo posible para que los huéspedes disfruten su estadía.

Excelente vistas, el patio es hermoso, el Hostel esta en excelentes condiciones. La amabilidad de la gente que atiende, muy cómodo la estadia, todo esto y más da para las 5 estrellas

THIS HOSTEL IS NOT CLOSED - not sure why Google has it listed that way.

Far out from the center of town, but on the road that leads you to all the hiking paths and all the wonderful outdoor spots Bariloche has to offer. So it's an excellent location but depending on what you're looking for. The hostel is very clean and seems almost new - some of the nicest facilities I have seen in Argentina. Outdoor patio is relaxing & lovely. Breakfast is basic and ends too early @10am. Grocery store is far walk. Bus stops right out front. Door code to get in hostel & room key needed.

Also - the atmosphere of this hostel is very very quiet, chill and relaxed, which is great for those who want a nice place to work during the day and are tired from trekking all day. It's not a "party hostel" (do those exist in Bariloche?), and in fact, a lot of people were quite anti-social which was unfortunate. But I made 3 great friends from my 4 days there!
