Green Bamboo is a cozy place, and very well decorated. The service ia friendly and the waiters explain th food with great detail, which is nice (if a tiny bit over the top). The menu is not that interesting in my opinion, it could have bolder choices of spice and flavor combinations. We ordered starters and entrees, and the starters were the best of the lot (the seafood salad was great!). My main dish (pork with noodles) was a bit bland and the salmon balls with curry were a bit rubbery. The desserts, however, were spotless. Finally I felt the prices are a bit high for what is offered.
We had the Sunday brunch. The food was good, as always. The attention was perfect. We used restorando for the reservation and got a 20% discount. Taking into account the quality and the size of the portions, the price was fair, even cheap.
An awful experience in almost every aspect. First we asked for the dumplings and it tasted like microwave re heated frozen pasta. We complained and with reluctant attitude they brought us sone spring rolls in similar conditions. The restaurant was almost empty and they forgot we order a second round of beers. Everything was wrong. Not cheap at all so be careful with the nice decoration in comparison with lame experience.
I think I was the first Vietnamese person in that restaurant but the food was pretty good. We had the spring rolls and pho which were tasty. Ambience is kind of spooky but our waitress was very sweet. Warning though it’s pricey.
Great "brunch". But don't get confused by the name. It's really lunch and served after 1pm try to take the regular chairs unless you want to do some penance.
One hour to bring the food, not even some bread during the wait, barely apologetic service. Could've offered some water for the wait. Food was decent, but won't be going back
It’s a great place, delicious food and impeccable service. Highly recommended.
Nice cosy ambience. Service is good and food is nice. Price is bit high comparing to same area places. Good for cocktails and bites, couples and small groups.
They have great food there Me and my familiy order from there all the time Great place to order for Chinese Food.
Cool experience on BA if you've never eat Vietnamese's food or never sit on tatamis. We visit this place with the BA menu (it happens twice a year, and the price is 50% off).
They have good drink, food very tasty. Price are bit over the normal, but not too expensive.
Good for a unique date :)
Stunning place, dark and romantic! Portion sizes aren't big, but the quality of food and service is outstanding!
Good food but pricey
Good food and the staffs are friendly.
As a Vietnamese, I think the food is somehow inauthentic but still good. Maybe, Vietnamese food needs to change to adapt with Argentina people
Amazing cocktails, great atmosphere, and excellent food.
Friendly staff and a change from the usual Argentinian fare. Thumbs up!
good food in a good ambiance. I liked it a lot.
Nice and cozy place with very good food.
Nice place for something a bit different in Buenos Aires. Good cocktails
One of the most incredible places I have eaten in all of Buenos Aires. Every time a friend visits, I bring them here for their last night. I would only go if you get to sit on the floor or in the back quarters where there are low sitting chairs and couches. ¡Buena onda! I recommend the coconut chicken curry with basil. Sometimes the service is really, really good or just bad, but the food ALWAYS blows my mind.
