Beautiful in design and decor is incredible. At night the way the lights hit the brick work shows a whole different kind of detail. Worth the walk 😀👌🏽💚🏛

You don't expect this kind of architecture in South America and you definitely don't expect a Cathedral with this level of detail to be made of brick. The design was incredible and the history behind the building is unique as well. The interior is just as grand as the exterior and has a holy aura to it. Definitely worth stopping in for a minimum of 30 minutes. The stain glass alone is worth it

First place you have to visit in La Plata it is not necessary to climb up the elevator unless it's a beautiful sunny day

Absolutely breathtaking, a must see during your travels and every weekend there are craft markets happening in the plaza opposite the Cathedral where you can experience the local cuisine.A fun place to take your kids and a nice place to relax and read a book. The Cathedral is nice and central between the commercial centre of the city and within walking distance of pretty much everything.
If you're in town go check it out.
