Very nice place. We had a room with a Sauna and a Jacuzzi. Amazing. The room for the breakfast is very small unfortunately and we didn't had a lot of choice. Great service otherwise.

It was incredible! We had a room on the third floor facing the street (not loud at all and a great view). The hotel is insanely clean and charming. The staff was so welcoming and helpful in supplying any needs, directions, and suggestive activities. The area is wonderful. Floreria botanica is down the road and many great cafes near by. Would tell any of my friends to stay here and would definitely come again!

    Location:

The hotel is in a good location for being close to lots of sights (walking distance to many). There are several good and affordable restaurant options within walking distance of the hotel. We found this to be one of the best positive of the hotel location. Because it is located close to the business center, many restaurants offer very reasonable lunch specials that were delicious. On the contrary, when we found ourselves in other locations (like Palermo or Recolata, prices at restaurants were significantly higher. The bus stop (very easy to use) is a five minute walk. Lots of shopping within a five minute walk.

    Service:

Honestly, the staff at CasaCalma is some of the best I've ever had anywhere including the Four Seasons! They are so nice, helpful, and completely at your service. Everyone at the front desk speaks beautiful english, but are also willing to let you practice your spanish. They had great suggestions for restaurants, tours, sights, even travel to other destinations. When something didn't go well (like our toilet keep running), they fixed it immediately and then left a complimentary bottle of wine for the trouble. The staff is the hotels greatest asset. They make you feel so at home and help with absolutely anything you need. For any negatives with the hotel, the quality of the staff more than compensates.

    Rooms:

Rooms were comfortable, bright and light, with a good mattress, plenty of storage to unpack, and a really nice jacuzzi tub. We opted for the deluxe room with the sauna. We used it a few times and it was fine. If I go back, I would probably just opt for a standard room because the sauna is the only difference. Rooms was very sound proof. Heating and cooling worked well. Basically, no complaints.

    Breakfast:

We opted for the room price with the breakfast included. Breakfast was overall very good with great service. Hot items like eggs and omelets are made to order and included in the price. Coffee drinks (including the cappuccino and espresso machine) are included as well. In addition, they have yogurt, lots of pastries, bread items, some fruit/nuts, etc. Plenty of options to choose from and everything is presented nicely and always well stocked. Breakfast area was never too crowed and the hours were open from 7-11am. If you do not opt for the breakfast included, each item is priced individually and it becomes a bit of a hassle. I would recommend either purchasing the room price with breakfast included, or just going out for breakfast on your own.

Overall, CasaCalma was one of the best experiences we had in our 10 day stay in Argentina. If we ever go back, I would DEFINITELY stay here again! Thanks to all the staff for all of their help and service! We appreciate it so much!

Final note: when leaving Argentina, DO NOT expect to be able to change argentinian pesos back to USD. We are stuck with argentinian pesos that we cannot change back ANYWHERE. So, plan accordingly and don't come back with any pesos. Wish we had known..
