This place is definitely a youth hostel. It is also very rundown. Things are half repaired or not even fixed at all. The shower has mildew on the walls, paint chips falling down and clogging the drain. In the “private” room the walls are so thin because it’s only a single sheet of drywall. The security mechanism to one of the doors is held together with duct tape. Be prepared to wake up in a pool of sweat because the AC doesn’t work well. The professional photos on the website are way out of date, don't trust them.
On a positive note, the staff was friendly and most of the people I met here were friendly also.response / report this review -

Run away from this horrible place! The front desk employee not only boosts people to make party but also participate to it at 1.00 AM after midnight even though some guests warn her. Sleeping is just impossible because of noise and poor isolation (actually no isolation).

The best description is "My house in BA!"

A great hostel, with 2 Pablo's and Einav which helped us with everything we needed in Buenos Aires. Very nice travelers arrives to this hostel due to good reviews. Recommended!
