Besides excellent bread and coffee I had a fried egg with tomatoes asados and sausages on toasted fresh bread. AWESOME! once sun is up sit outside in the patio and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

Very cute and good quality bakery/coffee place with delicious products for your breakfast. Baguettes, bread, croissants (real ones, too!!), and pastries - plenty of choices. Service is super-friendly and prices are reasonable for this level of quality. Once you try it, chances are you'll become a regular, it sure happened to me during the stay in Mendoza! Recommended.

A nice casual place for lunch sitting in the back courtyard. Staff were friendly and accommodated our broken Spanish. Great bread of course and refreshing juice drinks too. We came back to this place because we liked it very much. Well priced.

Went here despite of some reviews saying the service was slow. We shouldn't have. We waited for 30 minutes actively trying to get someones attention, and when we finally did he said he'd be back in a minute. He didn't come back. Went to the register to pay our bill twenty minutes later, without having ordered what we wanted. Got no apology either. The food was no better than decent, and it was expensive. Nice patio, though.

Good coffee but amazingly slow and poor service. So much so that after an hour of waiting we had to get our food to go. The terrible topping? The empanada was at best uncooked with raw dough and FROZEN filling still. The pizza that came with it was decent but serving still frozen and raw food is a disgrace.

Genuinely the only well priced, non tourist restaurant in Mendoza. The food is excellent and seriously fresh. My husband had eggs on toast the first time which were perfectly poached, following day the chicken sandwich which was huge and really delicious. I had the watermelon, avocado etc salad which was so fresh and good on a hot day, following day the potato rosti with kale. You choose which freshly baked load of bread you want with your sandwich and we got some of their still warm pastries for take away for breakfast the following day. Couldn't recommend this more highly (also salads and sandwiches can be vegan, and salads are GF)

We went to Brod bakery in order to enjoy a good cup of coffee and brunch whilst staying in Mendoza. The place was cute, the coffee and food was okay. It certainly wasn't cheap but we didn't expect it to be. We ordered some poached eggs and one of them had clearly burst in the boiling water meaning there was no oak left, it was white and overcooked. When we kindly asked for another one to the waitress. another woman returned with, our now cold meal and argued with us She argued with us over a single egg! I have worked in many cafes and restaurants before and have never seen such thing happen before. To be fair, it was Sunday and the place was empty, now I understand why. They might have good bread and pastries in there but they also have an extremely unprofessional attitude. I highly disrecommend this place, there's plenty more place in Argentina where you can enjoy a good old poached egg!
