Room was ok, location good with good connections elsewhere. Not so many bars or restaurants near but with bus or taxi fast to move near places. Hotel wifi wasn't the best, almost every day had to call reception and say wifi doesn't work but usually in 5mins was up and running. Best part of the hotel was that we had quite wild parties there with lot of different people and hotel staff didn't say nothing :) They always kindly opened the door when our group returned from the nighlife. Room was booked for two adults and group was 3 to 5 persons to have afterparty and sleepover :P
Best holiday with good and cheap hotel in this nice part of Buenos Aires.response / report this review -

After travelling more than 25 hours to finally arrive in Buenos Aires it was not a place that made me feel welcome. There was no "hello", nor a "welcome", the receptionist did not even look at me. He could not make my check-in, for what ever reason, and although he could speak some English, he first refused to do so. I had to wait 30 minutes until another staff member arrived to make my check-in.
There was no information about breakfast or check-out times. They told me irritated I would not have breakfast although I had additionally booked and paid for it.
As the first room they gave me was old, dark and not the one from the pictures, I tried to change the room, and this successfully worked out and I was told they were renovating the Hotel and for this reason some rooms were newer and more modern than others. The new room was OK, however there was no possibilty to close and lock the safe. Windows and walls are barely isolated so you can hear the noise outside as if there were no windows.
The room next to mine was rented to a man with a loud and very frequent love life. After hearing him making love 4 times within 4 hours, I went back to the reception to ask for another room. The receptionist I then met, has certainly never been a guest at a Hotel himself, nor did he ever had a proper training. When I asked him for another room, he screamed if I could not see, that he was very busy and sent me away. He was angry, stressed out and started flailing his arms, repeating: "What do you want?" and he does not have time for me, and I should go.
There is no resason spending precious money and time at an unfriendly place.
As the cryer was obviously incompetent and not willing to help me I waited to talk to the manager. He had a better handling and was much more better trained about how to treat guests and he could help me.
The second room was OK (it was the one you can see in the picture) as well as the breakfast (including fresh fruit, bread, croissants, marmelade, cereals), nevertheless I would absolutely not recommend this place, because of unprofessional, rude and unfriendly staff. There is a versatile choice of good Hotels in Buenos Aires, which will happily welcome you as a guest.
After travelling through Argentina for several months I can luckily say that this Hotel was the only bad experience.response / report this review -

Buena ubicación. Habitación grande y cómoda.pero comunicaba con otra por una puerta asà que se escuchaba todo , ruidos 7 conversaciones. Frigobar. Caja de seguridad con llave , incómodo. Wi fi no funcionó un dÃa completo. Desayuno normal.

Found this hotel for a good price and found it accommodating. They let us check in early and we appreciated that. It's a but older but overall a good location with wifi.
