I ordered the Picanha from the a la carte menu and asked for it to be cooked rare. I am not sure how the chef cooked the Picanha but it would seem he probably boiled it and then fried it. The Picanha was served incredibly well done and was swimming in a pool of oil. It was completely unedible. When I complained, the waitress insisted it was cooked rare. When I asked her why the meat was not at all red anywhere she just shrugged her shoulders. The restaurant insisted on charging the full AOA4,000 for the Picanha despite eventually admitting the chef had overcooked the meat. As a result, I would never return to this restaurand even if I was paid to and I certainly could not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
