The food in the restaurant is quite good, a bit pricey for european standards but, unfortunally, not for Angolan standards. I did not find the rooms smelly. It is situated bang in the center of Luanda, so you are within walking distance from almost everywhere. The fact that it only occupies the 4th, 5th and 6th floors (the 1st three are normal residences/offices), makes it a little awkward and those elevators not for the faint hearted. Over all a reasonable hotel to stay, very over-priced (as all hotels in Luanda).

The reception is in the 4th floor, if the lifts are working you can take one, otherwise stairs :)
Quoting "[]The rooms are smelly and dirty[..]" it´s true.
But I think that the food in the restaurant is ok.
I was working near by, and I had lunch there several times.
The english spoken by the staff is bad, veeery baaad.
It´s normal waiting 45 minutes to pay.
If your company can afford, book Tivoli, Trópico, Presidente or Alvalade. (There are other options like Talatona, but didn´t stay there). Continental is old but clean (according to Africa standards).response / report this review
