  I asked locals for a traditional vegetarian food and their recommendation was Jengyal at this restaurant. It's basically Lavash bread (Iranian and Armenian traditional bead) stuffed with vegetables (mainly Parsley - I guess) and onion. The taste was good (not great btw) and the ambience is cosy and lovely. I recommend this place.

  Zhengyalov hats is a Karabakh's signature dish. This is the only place in Yerevan that is close to Karabakh's zhengyalov hats in taste.
