This is the place that all must see in Yerevan. Excursion isn't the best but it's interesting, also it's very impression when you see old barrels and equipments. You must take full ticket where contribute to taste old wine.

This was a weird experience for the four of us. We paid 3500 dram each for a tour incl tasting wich lasted about an hr. The first part was really uninteresting information and comercial for the destillery, the guide never took us through anything regarding the production of brandy. After a while we were taken down in the wine cellar, wich actualy was holding 25 ish degrees(!). There was several floors with gigantic barrels who we were told were holding 10-11k litres of wine from 1930s. We checked the barrels and they were all empty(!). We were then served wine that supposedly cost 3000$ and is dated back to 1924. We were given 2dl ish to share the fours of us. This dosent make sense!!! Its all a scam.
Later we were given two glasses of 20 and 10 yr old aged brandy with some fruit. I have traveled all over the world and know when something is to good to be true

Place where Armenian alcohol drinks are made. Excursions aren't that good. It's better to buy something interesting to remember Armenia
