  Աշտարակը հարուստ է միջնադարյան եկեղեցիներով, որոնցից մեկն էլ Ծիրանավոր վանքն է։ Կառուցվել է 5-6-րդ դարերում։ Ներկայումս եկեղեցին գտնվում է ավերակ վիճակում։

  Tsiranavor (meaning apricot hue) church in Ashtarak was probably built in V century by the order of Nerses II Bagrevandtsi Catholicos.

  The church lies in ruins
  You can easily see that it used to be a huge one.
  It is still impressive. It will be more interesting if renovated!
  You can have a good view over the river Kasagh and the bridge over it.

  Ancient pagan temple converted to Armenian church in 4th-6th century. Mostly ruined now, but well worth the visit.
