Similar with Haghpat but different feeling. Should visit both place. Sanahin is more lonesome. but it's more attractive point.

A great, wonderful place.
The monastery complex is cool. You can get there using the ropeway from Alaverdi. The village is adjacent to Alaverdi. And from Sanahin you can see Haghpat.
Every tourist travelling in Armenia should visit this place!response / report this review
