  От самой церкви и притвора мало что осталось, зато сохранилось полуподземное помещение то ли библиотеки, то ли трапезной, дорога от села Гарни очень живописна

  The name of the monastery literally means "A gathering place for birds".
  The monastery is situated inside Khosrov forest state reserve. You can get there hiking which is a little bit hard (at least for me). The scenery here is great. You can see Garni temple and the small church of Garni at distance.
  One amazing thing about the monastery is its ornaments. I have never seen this kind of small monastery with this amount of ornaments! The ornaments are everywhere! They are so delicate, so neat, beautiful.
  One sad fact about this place is that it is in ruins!
  P.S. you will also notice this place when in Garni temple (to the left. it is on a tall hill).

  Off the beaten track and quite dilapidated but with some amazing khachkars. Well worth the trip
