This place is wonderful. There is something mystical there. The monks living there are very friendly. The place is situated in a gorge and getting to the site is very interesting. You can get there from the village Gndevaz, cause you will have an amazing view from the edge of the cliff. And while you are getting down from the village to get to the monastery you will see some small waterfalls which are good!!!

Gndevank is an old monastery which has been revived recently. The monks who live there dedicate their time to revive the historical place and they work hard to make it feel cosy: they grow a small garden on the hillsides and keep bees. The valley beneath the monastery and the road to the walled structure are very picturesque and it's worth to go for a short hike there.
