On August 2017 our group of 5 people applied for visa to take part in Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project in Spain. After having group interview at the Lithuanian embassy and providing additional documents, we were granted visas.
The embassy granted 3 people from the group with "C" type (short term) visa and 2 people - with "A" type of visa (Airport transit visa)․ They were NOT informed, warned or advised by anyone about the visa type “A”.
When travelling from Yerevan to Spain, passport control point in Moscow didn't allow 2 of us to board because of "A" visa type. They had to buy return ticket back from Moscow to Yerevan - carrying huge financial loss and psychological, moral harm.

EVEN IF received wrong application asking for "A" type of visa from Visa application center Yerevan or from applicants, the Embassy knew the aim of asking for the visa - all details with dates, duration and venue of the project, it had group interview and all the documents justifying the purpose of stay. But still, the embassy didn't took any responsibility by giving them visa with which they couldn't travel - thus sending them to nowhere.

I have no words to express how incompetent, ridiculous and bureaucratic this office is. They have the worst practices ever, denying visa based on absurd assumptions and 'reasons'. They humiliate applicants by making them chase this and that paper and it's a neverending loop to get out of the "suspicious" list. I hope one day the world will not need you at all!
