Marshrutka (minibus) departs once full during the day to Tbilisi (Tiflis) that can take between 6-7 hours. The minibus stops on its way at other towns and picks up passengers on its way, even when there are no seats. Thus, try to get a window seat with an open window to avoid the crowds and have fresh air as there is no air-condition. Be at the bus station ideally at 08:00, after the first minibus departs, it takes much longer to fill the next one, thus, if you intend to be there at 09:00, it can easily take till 11:00 to have enough passangers for the driver to depart. On the way, the minibus is going to stop for toilet and food stops, and just before the border control, use the last stop point to exchange your Armenian cash to Georgian, though beware that the commission is high.
If you want to go to Byurakan take the Bus 519 or 520

What a mess! It's not clear which bus/microbus leaves from which side of the street, where and when exactly. You should walk around and ask drivers and stores around the terminal to figure out what's going on. The ticket office wasn't helpful.
