  Perfect place. Wonderful food, coffee, environment, books, jewelry, souvenirs and even toilet ))) Our Armenian guide was also surprised to find a cafe like this so far from Yerevan. Second floor is sooooo cosy)

  Stopped here while road tripping across Armenia. Tasteful decor, yummy food, and good service (English and French). We enjoyed the comfy outdoor seating, too. There are also cute local crafts inside for sale at reasonable rates.

  This is one of my favorite cafes in Armenia, even by Yerevan standards. The design of the space is especially nice. It's somewhere between a western saloon and a mountain cabin, high ceilings, brick fireplace, and both great heating for the winter months and a nice patio for the summer. The staff has always been really cool, and they play a wide range of great music all the time. There are boardgames available for customers. There is a nice bookstore with an excellent selection of English and Armenian books, as well as so many souvenirs you won't be able choose which to take home. Everything from the salt and pepper shakers to napkin holders to the cups and plates have ancient Armenian cave and stone painting designs. There are both smoking and non smoking sections and the high ceilings help to keep the air clean, which is a breath of fresh air (pun intended) after going to so many stuffy smoke filled cafes. There's a good selection of wines as well, and intentionally reasonably priced, in order to maintain a family environment (hard liquor is overpriced with the same intent).
  
  I almost forgot the food! Pizzas, good. Burgers, good. Lebanese/Syrian-Armenian food, good. Friend chicken, pastas, thyme bread, you got quite a cornucopia to choose from.
  
  Talking up any place builds expectations too high, but it's where I take friends and family, it's where I go to read, sometimes it's where I go just to hang out. If you're in the area, just check this place out. See for yourself.
