  During my visit to Yerevan, a friend and I were dropped off in front of Buddha Cafe, when my friend had a sudden emergency and needed to use the bathroom ASAP. We walked in and my friend headed to the restroom while I waited for her. A woman approached me and asked in a very harsh tone whether we were going to sit. I said that we are not, but explained that my friend was not feeling well and had to use the restroom. At this point, she yelled, "Leave right now!" When my friend came out of the restroom she approached us again and continued to yell. My friend tried to reason with her and asked how she would like to be treated if she were in the same situation but reasoning was futile as this lady was bent on being vulgar and aggressive. As we were leaving I told her that we would never, ever eat here and she yelled, "like you were going to come here!" I couldn't believe that she would exclude the possibility that we are potential customers and as a matter of fact, my friend and I were dining in the area nearly every day. I understand that certain places allow bathroom use only for customers and I understand that I cannot compare the customer service in Yerevan to the US, but given the circumstances, the way this woman handled the situation was unbelievable. My friend and I were in so much shock that we decided to go back in and ask for the manager's information so that we can speak with him. Our request was treated as if it were unusual and inappropriate and we were refused.

  I would not call it expensive, but for this region it us not cheap. Food was really bad. Medium rare was totally overcooked and dip was discussing. Meet was full of fat and chewie. Drinks was OK, but for coffee we walk to next doors.

  Very nice and quiet place. Beautiful atmosphere, service on a high level.
