I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Lusine for organizing an absolutely flawless trip to Armenia and Georgia, earlier this month. Everything, from the hotel reservations to the itinerary was handled in a highly effective manner with thorough and clear communication throughout the whole process. The sights in the tour itself were utterly breathtaking and it was everything that was expected and more! The guides were also very knowledgeable and courteous as were the drivers that I had the pleasure of meeting on the journey through the Caucasus mountains. I have to make special mention of the guide in Georgia, Kakha, who I found to have an excellent grasp on the history and geography of the country while being very sociable!
Armenia and Georgia are absolutely worthwhile destinations with more sights and beauty packed into a small land mass than I thought was possible. Arara Tours was flawless in the execution of the tour and I highly recommend the company for anyone looking to travel in Armenia and Georgia.response / report this review -

Arara Tours created a terrific itinerary, Armenia & Georgia Classical Tour, that introduced me to the highlights of Armenia and Georgia during an 8-day span. In Armenia, over five days, besides a comprehensive Yerevan city tour, my guide took me to Zvartnot Temple ruins, Echmiadzin, Khor Virap Monastery, Noravank Monastery, Garni Temple, Geghard Monastery, Lake Sevan, Dilijian, Akhtala Fort, and Haghpat Monastery. The Georgia portion of my tour included three days of sightseeing. Highlights were the Tbilisi Old Town Tour, Jvari Temple, Mtskheta, Ananuri Fortress, Gudauri Ski Resort, Gergeti Trinity Church with views of Mount Kazbek, the wine-producing region of Kakheti with a wine tasting in the quaint town of Signaghi, and David-Gareja semi-desert area and monastery complex. Guide services of both my Armenia guide, Arthur, and my Georgia guide, Georgi, were knowledgeable, entertaining. informative, flexible, and comprehensive. Hotels were modern, clean, and centrally located in the capital cities of Yerevan and Tbilisi.

Absolutely to avoide! I usally travel a lot and I've never found a situation like this one!
The girl with whom I talked after more than 30 emails wasn't able to put in the schedule the places We wanted to visit ( even though I've written to her several times).
Secondly we had to sign the contract in the middle of the street and give her the money there.. because we arrived on friday night and they didn't work on Saturday! ( in emails she told me to meet in the agency, then she changed her mind three times).
Our guide in Armenia wasn't a really guide because he was a doctor doing this job in his free time, so he wasn't a good guide as We expected! I could be able to have the same informations or more from my lonely planet guide! Nobody told us that we would have the same guide for 4 days and he would sleep in our same hotel not giving us free time to stay alone ( also at dinner)!
Very high price for what they gave us!
More than 100€ for each person ( we were 2) every day! Our tours in Armenia cost the double of Georgian ones!
The ONLY good thing I can remember was our first georgian guide, absolutely amazing guy!
As for Armenia, organization skills and price absolutely a disaster!!response / report this review -

Unprofessional, overpriced, arrogant staff. Just avoid at all costs. They make the beautiful people of Armenia look like monsters!

Armenia was a best choice of travel I took this year. I also opted for Nagarno-Karabah & Georgia too. Its a very safe and tourist friendly place. The real gem are its people. If you like Nature, History and Architecture then this is place is a must visit. Yerevan, Goris, Sevan, Dilijan are all unique in its way. Food is simply amazing. Thanks to the Arara team of Lusine, Christina, Haykuki & John, my family enjoyed this memorable trip. Thank you once again. :)

Traveling around Armenia is an interesting experience. The most important thing is that this country is unique and has its own face. Not everywhere will you see such amazing architectural monuments and such unique landscapes. Just imagine: ancient Christian temples, with a background of forested mountains! And I think that Armenian people should be mentioned separately. They are so warm, so kind, and so open-hearted, it is so surprising! The people working at Arara Tour are exactly the same. They try to pass their love of Armenia to others. They are doing great job! People, I don’t think that any one will be disappointed after visiting Armenia and working with the guys at Arara!

I have never thought that Armenia is so interesting country for travelling around. Now I can say that there are lots of sights in Armenia that are really worth seeing (especially ancient monasteries). I want to encourage anyone who wants to travel to Armenia and say that you won’t be disappointed ( I believe so). The nature here is also very unique…However, first of all I advise visiting Lake Sevan, it is really an inspiring place, and very unique! And now a few words about tours to Armenia..I can just say that the program of Arara tours is really interesting, full, the guys are nice…so everything is ok!

Traveling around Armenia is an interesting experience. The landscapes are beautiful and unique, and the air…it so fresh and full of mountain flower aroma! I like it so muuuch!!! Then what about sights..Armenian temples and monasteries are well-known because of their simple but majestic architecture. And that is true, they really must be seen! I don’t know, but I think that it is impossible to visit Armenia and remain indifferent…By the way, Armenian people are so kind, warm and hospitable! And this refer to Arara team as well, I think they are doing a great work

Last year, we traveled to Armenia. It was an awesome experience. The sight scenes were amazing. My wife loved the trip. We had a great time there. The time we passed together were so memorable.
Without Arara tour agency, nothing was possible for us. With them, our experience was excellent. I must recommend this travel agency for Armenia travel.response / report this review
