Road is a bit narrow and steep but it really worths going there. The view is great. Mountains, the Gjirokaster castle, mountains just great. The restaurant and cafe are a bit more expensive than the ones in the city but it really worths.

I would go again to Gjirokaster, only to stay at Kerculla resort. It was beyond our expectations, great prices and beautiful rooms with all the amenities, the best view and atmosphere and very friendly staff. Keep up the good work!

Absolutely amazing hotel! You couldn't get a more spectacular view of the mountain and the service at the hotel is probably the best we came across in our time in Albania. Food at breakfast and dinner is delicious and the rooms are gorgeous, all with a fantastic balcony. Also have Netflix on the TVs and a great pool!

If you are looking for a high quality hotel and restaurant in Gjirocaster, this is the place to be. The decor, fit, and finish of this newer hotel and restaurant is excellent. It has excellent traditional style woodwork quality doors and local artwork. The view is fantastic. We had a superb dinner and were invited to share an apertife with the owner afterwards. Our experience at Resort Kerculla made our visit to Gjirocaster very memorable.

You have to visit this place if you are in Albania. This is the most wonderful hotel you'll ever see

The price might seem high for Albania, but wow was it worth it.
    This hotel offered the most wonderful experience we had in our Albanian roadtrip. Where should i start? Well, let's just sum-up;

    - lovely location (300ft/100m above the city)
    - awesome steep road up there
    - completely new build facility. (2 months old)
    - outstanding luxurious room
    - kingsize bed and a modern leather couch
    - wonderful bathroom with a very big shower
    - Connected SmartTV
    - Great airconditioning
    - We had the room next to the swimming pool, be sure to get that one. 5 meter walk and your in the pool
    - lovely approx. 12 by 5 meter pool, very clean too.
    - pool beds and umbrella's are perfect. I'd imagine they'll even open the pool bar if there are enough people. Untill then just ask one of the guys to bring you a cold drink or some fruit
    - The hotel has a very very very good restaurant with excellent breakfast, lunch and diner menu.

Just to conclude; in some west-europe countries they would easily charge you more than €300 per night for a stay like this.

And the owner is a very nice guy too by the way, have a chat with him!
