  Manastiri i Shën Theodhorve ndodhet në Gjipe (Dhërmi) . Manastiri i përket Kishës Orthodhokse autoqefale të Shqipërisë . Në këtë vend të Shenjtë Kisha Orthodhokse organizon Kampe verore për Stundent .

  Monastery of Saint Theodor was build on the site of where used to stand a temple dedicated to Dias (Zeus).
  The construction started in the XIV century but finished 500 years later. It was serving as a monastery until the end of the II World war.
  On March 4, the monastery celebrates it's date and people come form all over the region of Himara to take part in the holy mass.
  After the war it became a military base of the Albanian Army. In 1952, its buildings became a holiday homes for the Russian navy officers who were serving in the navy base of Orikum.
  After the departure of the Russian navy from Albania in mid 1962, the monastery became a watch point for the Albanian army. On the walls of the buildings you can still find signs written by the Albanian army and soldiers.
  In the late 80'' the army base was closed and the church and the other other buildings of the monastery were let to deteriorate.
  The whole monastery is now under reconstruction and it will be fully functional in 2017, but still open to the public.
  The road to the monastery is asphalted and it starts south of the village of Ilias, next to Gjipe canyon. There is a road from the monastery to to Gjipe beach which was serving the army but it is now in very bead conditions so you can note drive your car, you will have to walk to the beach.
