  Caught a private boat for 4.5 on the water with lunch included. Didn't see another single soul on the water the entire time. Absolutely magical. Food was incredible, every view was beathtaking. Would definitely do it again.

  The best boat ride in the world! Stop off at the ferry port for a coffee around a woodburner before stepping foot on to one of many tiny taxi boats that provide transit for the locals living way out in the mountains. Fascinating to witness such a wonderfully unique lifestyle.

  Lake Koman Ferry (Albanian: Trageti i Komanit) is a passenger ferry service operated by several local companies along the Koman Reservoir (also known as Koman Lake) in Northern Albania. The line operates between Koman near the Koman Hydroelectric Power Station, and Fierzë near the Fierza Hydroelectric Power Station. The line is known for its breath taking views of the mountain gorges, unscheduled stops along the way for serving locals, and the peculiar atmosphere of both locals, foreigners, and even animals being fitted on board up to full capacity. According to Bradt Travel guides, the journey is described as "one of the world's great boat trips" only comparable to the Scandinavian fjords

  Really nice lake in Northern Albania. You can use ferry to get across the lake. Several companies run their ships for carrying passengers and also cars and motorcycles between towns Fierzë and Koman. Price is about approx. 15EUR + 1EUR tax for using the port :)

  amazing place with restaurant and hotel. we had a wonderful time here (and on the ferry). the staff is great: very friendly and super helpful.

  This is an amazing boat trip along the artificial lake. It runs frequently through the summer, but is less regular into the autumn when the water level falls.
