Rather 4 stars than 5. Wide selection for breakfast. Very nice personnel. Elegant rooms, especially on first floor with private sunbeds in front of the room. Comfortable beds. Recently refurbished but remained old style.

The facility was great. Lots of renovations = Beachside and Pool side. We had several rooms as it was combination business and family holiday for some of our team. The Support Staff were mostly young and inexperienced BUT were well trained and ALL worked very hard to give us a great experience. The cooks made good efforts, but food often was not as good as one would hope. August at the beach was CROWDED dropped over 50% in September. We are told there are MANY nicer beaches in Albania but as we had to commute to Tirana (45 mins plus any traffic delays) we selected Durress. All of us would gladly use the same hotel again.

Whenever I have guests, I always recommend this place. It has good service, good staff and great sea view from the room. Lately I visited again & the restaurant and the food were even better than before. Moreover it is close to everything, city center, airport, capital.
I definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to visit Durres and get the best stay.response / report this review
