  Our time at the Hairy Lemon Hostel was the nicest send off from Albania that we could've hoped for. We arrived with the intention of staying one night, maybe two. We ended up staying for four. The two Italian hosts, Riccardo and Andrea, and the two volunteers, Cora from the USA and Lera from Belarus, were so welcoming and easy going that we felt right at home. We spent the days lounging in the hammock on the balcony of the 8th floor apartment, sipping drinks whilst watching the sunset and cooking together. They made some incredibly tasty and cheap food which came with wine and complimentary raki.
  Andrea recommended us a scooter hire to see the nearby ruins of Butrint and beaches of Ksamil. And we left with a lot of great recommendations of what to see in Greece
  We also went for our first truly enjoyable swim in the ocean (in April). It was glorious! And the view of Corfu from the balcony is incredible
  Overall it was really nice to take a break from travelling here and fully relax in a beautiful place with such chilled out, lovely people. So much so that it was genuinely hard to leave!

  Super chill little hostel! Everyone was really nice and the pancake breakfast is legit. The balcony has a really great view of the sunset out over the water. The only drawback is that it gets kind of hot in the rooms, but its not too bad

  Great place! The guests and staff (arround 18 and 8) create a small little family feeling on the eighth floor of this appartment building. The volunteer staff are really nice and inclusive, they aim to involve you into whatever they're planning (BBQing, clubbing etc.), but leave the choice with you. There is always someone there who will help you with anything. You can buy drinks and shots from them. Each morning the staff makes unlimmeted pancakes which is a good breakfast (but not for an entrie week). Its Albania, so it's cheap.

  Loved this place! Coming here is like joining a small little family. The people who run the place are really nice, and there's always good staff working and making sure people have a good time. Drinks, card games and FREE PANCAKES really make the stay here great. Also on the cheap side of prices which is always good

  The staff were cool, the location is only 20-30 metres from the beach! and the balcony view is heaven. its a Nice clean & social hostel and there is a good kitchen you can use. What a great country and city! Love Albania.
