Its my 2nd time I use EuroCar in Albania. The staff is nice and easy to communicate. The vehicles are almost brand-new, not older than 2-3 years. Rented a Skoda Spaceback, who ran 25km on a liter of diesel. Comfortable and not pricy. Delivery on-time in perfect conditions. Thank you Eurocar. See you again soon.

I rented a car with Eurocar a few weeks during my time in Albania. Fantastic agency with the friendliest and kindest staff you can ever imagine. Everyone speaks fluent English and is eager to make your trip to Albania a comfortable one. I had no issues with the car. I got the exact type of car that I had wanted--a relatively new, small car. Perfect for a solo traveler. I really appreciated being able to rent from their centrally located downtown location, which saved me the cost and time associated with having to go the airport. Highly recommended!

After I finished my trip to Greece, I visited Albania.
It has been a nice trip. At the beginning I had some problems with the ferry, then everything was OK. I rented a car from Eurocar Rental I was a little undecided by the reviews, but they were the only ones who could offer the service to pick up the car at the port of Saranda and the deliver to Tirana Airport. I rented a small white Skoda, the car was in perfect conditions, and very clean. The Albanian coast was really a nice place, I enjoyed it very much, even the car was perfect and very economical and comfortable. Thanks to them I had a wonderful trip. Without any doubt I would recommend it to all.

We had a great experience hiring a car and driver from Eurocar. I highly recommend them. My colleague and I requested the car with very short notice for 5 days of travel throughout Albania. The team was highly responsive and able to accommodate our requests and provided quick and friendly service. They had also had the best prices after comparing with several others. We've already recommended them to others. Car was very clean. Driver spoke English. Overall excellent experience.

Just came back from vacation in Albania and rented a FIAT 500 from EUROCAR. My experience with them did not end happily. The guys at Tirana office were friendly but we had to wait for 2 hours to get a car we had booked in advance. The trip went well (10 days) although fair to say the car was not in prime shape (warning sign on the dashboard the whole trip and request to have the car checked up). When we returned the car at the airport, we had to wait close to an hour to have a EUROCAR staff come to the airport and deal with the car returning ( two customers waiting). And then the whole thing ended with the same issue (scam I presume) other customers have faced before: the two plastic rims of the rear wheels were missing and charged an extra 20 euros. This seems so common with this company, it can't really be random. I don't know how they proceed but having useless plastic rims on wheels that can easily be taken out allows them to charge you more at the end.
So, one more unhappy customer not recommending this car rental. Too bad for them. The little they earn with those behavior will be a loss to them in the end.

Car was ok but delivered late. When the car was returned we had many issues which I have never previously had. This was annoying and time consuming.

1. They charged €97 for scuffs to the rims and bumper. Most related to the rims as these are not covered at all by insurance. However, they said that if we had paid €15 up front we would not have to pay for any damage but this was NEVER offered to us! In addition the guy admitted these were charges for "theoretical" repairs, as the work would not actually be carried out. If they charge for such repairs every time they will soon be racking up enough money to cover a new bumper plus a nice profit.

2. In the contract they will charge you €20 for cleaning the car. Yes, we should have picked this up when signing but I have never ever had to clean a hire car before return and it certainly does not cost €20 in Albania! They waived some of it but still charged €7.

3. They also charged us for a very small amount of fuel at an inflated price.

In summary, these guys will provide a car and offer pickup in different locations but be VERY careful when dealing with them. Read the contract carefully and expect them to carry out a very detailed inspection at the end. This left a very bad taste to a good trip to Albania. These guys are looking for as many ways as possible to get extra fees out of customers and I would try elsewhere.
