The lagoon is a nice place for a day trip to explore the nature and the open trails for short exploring walks. The lagoon is home to very rare birds such as "The curly Pelican" and animals so birdwatching is an activity not to miss out! There are plenty of fish restaurants or you can have a picnic on the reserved places! I would not suggest it for a day at the beach experience, and also in any circumstance do not forget to get plenty of anti mosquito cream and sprays with you, especially when you are visiting with kids!

Virgin nature , perfect destination for those seeking wild adventure, bird sightseeing , especially the curly ( Dalmatian) Pelican ! Fishing and many more outdoor activities are also available. A quiet and secure place to bring your kids to play in the vast national park divjake-karavasta , it's proximity to the forestal police department makes the park even more secure .The beach is also very close to the woods so you can go by walking , cycling and also there's public transportation in the summer season . Soon we will be opening a certified local guides community especially made to help foreign tourist explore the zone while also feeling safe , stay tuned friends.

The fauna of the Divjaka National Park is particularly rich with the “curly”/Dalmatian pelican here constituting about 5 percent of world population of this type of pelican.
