The best place in Skhoder. Good location, near the castle. Great service! I loved!

Beautiful campsite, with very friendly staff. It's a little bit hidden, but it is definitely worth it. The toilets are very clean, as is the pool. Restaurant serves amazing food in a kind of fairytale forest. We lost our passport while we were there, but thanks to the amazing staff, everything turned out fine, thanks to their helpfulness. The campsite has everything you need to have a comfortable stay.

    We really recommend going here!

Had a great stay here. Well maintained, friendly staff and good facilities. HOWEVER, one of the waiters in the restaurant overcharged me when it came time to pay the bill. In the menu the food item was listed as 300, but when it came time to pay, it had gone up to 400. The waiter said it was because the menu was a couple of years old, but he was obviously lying and I ended up paying it anyway to not make a scene. Very unfortunate to have to end my experience at the camp spot like this. Before that, when I asked how much the beer was, he asked me where I was from. I told him Australia, to which he responded: "then why do you care what the price is?" Obviously he thought I should pay more because of where I was from - very bad form. But apart from him everything was awesome and I'd definitely recommend staying there.

Lovely campsite with reasonable pricing, €17.50 per night for 2 adults, camper van and electricity. Toilet roll, hand wash and hand towels. Consistent hot water, an area for cooking. Lovely swimming pool which is kept clean and area for relaxing. Lots of mosquitos around after the storm so cover up.
Restaurant is a must - so beautiful, we didn't expect what we found. Food is delicious and reasonably priced.

Fantastic camping site. I can recommend this camping to anyone. The people working at the camping are great and very very helpfull. My friend had some troubles regarding to work and needed a computer to fix it. They gave her their personal laptop to use. She could even take the laptop to the nearby restaurant to work from there. They also placed 6 giant boards with possible trips you can make in the neighborhood. Very nice. Every place has its own electricity and watertap. The swimming pool is fresh clean water. We really enjoyed our stay at the camping. Only tiny negative point: there was no hot water.

Very nice very enjoyable place to stay. I want to stay just for one night but I end up staying two because of the great ambience and extremely nice people. And it's also very clean especially for standards in an Albania camps with no extra charge for electricity Wi-Fi or anything like that. There's also a great restaurant included in the campgrounds with the most beautiful garden that I've ever seen in a restaurant. The camp and the restaurant are very affordable and provide great services it's a must stay if you are in Albania. I can say with certainty that you won't find this kind of Campground anywhere else.

Incredible camping with amazing people running it. We planned to stay there just one night and move on, but the ambience was so good we stayed one more night. Place is big enough to chill out, relax or have a good party. I plan on returning there to test that new open pool that is being built there. I sincerely recommend that place as I was extremely surprised by kindness of the owners and also other Albanians.

    Cheers

We stayed here for one night in May 2017. The wifi signal across the site was poor to non existent. The amenities are at best OK just. We have 4 very small children and there was an issue with the advertised cost (on the board as you enter) and the cost we paid - it seemed as if a 4,5,7 and 9 year old did not qualify as children! To be fair to the site , they did turn there small paddling pool on when we arrived for the children, and the restaurant on site looked great but we did not stay to try the food. We left after one day disappointed.

This campsite ticks every box: it has superior facilities, warm owners, fair prices and a superb location on the edge of town. But on top of that it has an unusually good (and for western Europeans, affordable) restaurant right next door. And, the icing on the cake: it's a perfect base for a good 4+ days of world-class sightseeing around northern Albania - and the owners are all too happy to advise and assist.

What to say.. We've been on the road for over a week, driving from Poland, thru Italy, as a competitor of the Złombol 2016 wrecked cars charity race. We've seen many camps but none of them can get even close to the Camping Legjenda. Firstly, the customer service is superb - the business is run by the family of warm hearded people, who will help you whenever you have a problem. Getting to the place is easy, there is enough space for 30-40 cars with tents. The kitchen is there - well equiped with the appliances and if you need to do your laundry/dry your wet stuff - you are in the right place. Bathrooms and showers are there too. Very clean and new. Using public toilets in Albania is well.. not the best experience ever. In Camping Legjenda you will feel like home. Electricity is also there, paid extra if you need the plug for Your camper, but free if you just want to use a kettle or something. For a car with 5 people and 2 tents we paid 35 euros that is Ok. It is definitely worth it, keeping in mind that the standard is very high and the customer service is excellent.
Beside the camping space, there is a restaurant with very good and well priced dishes and wines. Worth a check if you don't want to bbq or prepare a meal on Your own.
Overall it is lovely place. With beautiful views of the mountains, close proximity of the shops and excellent view from the local castle. I will come back there next year for sure, for a week or more. Highly recomended.

Got there late at night looking for a cheap place to crash and leave early in the morning. When I saw that they charge €6 for a tent, I told the owner, an Italian lady, that I'd go to a hostel, cause it would only cost me €2 more. Then, she insisted and reduced the price and I decided to stay. Later on I asked for help to fix my broken tent, and she laughed and was very sarcastic with me. In the morning, on my way out of the camping, I picked one of the apples that grow everywhere in the camping site and she started yelling at me, saying that I should pay for that Apple, making me feel like a thief. I've been to more than 30 countries and this was the worst experience I've had,

Great hospitality at Camping Legjenda in Shkoder! I arrived here by bicycle on my way to Montenegro and was looking for a place to put up my tent. Instead of just a place for my tent, the owners have given me a lot more. For example, one of the screws of my glasses disappeared the day before, and they managed to fix it using one of their own older glasses from home. And they know a lot to tell about the history of the city and in particular about the castle that can be seen from the camping, which takes its name from a famous legend from when the castle was built. The restaurant is also a real must-go-to, as it has a wonderful garden and the food I had was delicious! I totally recommend this camping and I gladly hope to return one day. Thank you!
