Beautiful place, but room got cold and damp at night (we were there on October, when nights are cold, though daytime was 25 C). Breakfast was nicer than we would've guessed.

Really good hostel, clean and excellent value for money (stayed for €10 in August). All you can eat buffet breakfast was great, Wifi was good. The hostel is the perfect to place to meet people, staff are very knowledgable and I especially enjoyed having a few drinks with the local guy who worked their and taking about Albania! Would 100% recommend.

My favourite hostel ever! Great breakfast, comfy beds in a beautiful old building and the best garden ever for chilling out in and having a beer with other travellers 😊 would definitely go back!

- Friendly people and personal mostly backpackers working there that finance their trip by working in the hostel. Nice people.
- Price is very low, however you don't get that much for it. Mixed shared room with 5 others. Shared bathroom with a lot of people.
- The next day I lodged in a guest house at the castle for 12€ with my own private room and bath and good breakfast plus you get to know the people of Berat

Amazing space in an old Berat house. Don't let the "hostel" tag fool you. Beautiful private rooms some with private balcony overlooking Berat castle and the river, lovely open lounge area in the garden where you can sip a drink. Came by for a drink and left very impressed.

The good sides: Skoti is very nice, and the hostel is visually very nice and pleasing and in a fun location with great view.
The bad? Very poorly maintained - no soaps in the bottles, shower broken, plenty of bugs in the showers, cats walking all over the food in the kitchen and eating some, atmosphere practically non existent (for you solo travelers).
