Place to visit
Nice museum for Albania. Unfortunately only the ground floor is accessible at the moment. The things to see are interesting. The price (300 LEK) is a bit high compared to other things in Albania. Kids are free though! The ticket is NOT valid anymore for free entrance to the amphitheatre.
Small exhibition, not very inspiring.
Very interesting
Well worth the visit, astonishingly well preserved artifacts - unfortunately only the first floor is open for visitors (from 7th BC to ~9th AD), the 2nd (medieval) and 3rd floor ("underwater treasures") are not viewable - yet.
Must go there
Very interesting collection, well presented! Entry 400 Lek, including the amphitheatre.
Unique and very interesting
Great collection, well displayed and with info in English and Albanian. Helpful staff too.
Only the ground floor of the splendid new building is currently populated, with Illyrian, Byzantine, Hellenic, Archaic and Roman artefacts. The lady on the desk told me that the upper two stories will be opened as they are filled with medieval stuff and more of the same.
Obviously, don't miss the splendid amphitheatre, Turkish wall, and underwhelming Forum while you're in Durres.
Renewed!!
Visited it, totally worth it
