We spent 10 amazing days at the new Manoah on Shoal Bay East. Our beachfront room, balcony and bathroom were large and nicely designed with a contemporary flair. The balcony overlooked the beach and crystal blue water. The feel of the hotel is elegant, low-key luxury with good service. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to please. We ate frequently at the hotel restaurant as the food and drinks are good. While Anguilla has many fine restaurants, it's nice to dine some nights at the hotel, especially when it's on par with the best across the island.
Special thanks to The Manoah team for making our visit an experience to remember especially Marcia, Star and Karl.

The only positive things I have to say about the Manoah is the beautiful beach setting and the beautiful exterior of the hotel. Otherwise, what should have been a lovely birthday dinner, was the complete opposite. We made a reservation early in the week stating it was for my birthday.
Upon arrival, there was only one table seated. We waited nearly half an hour just for our drink order. When our waitress finally came back for our dinner order (without our drinks) and my husband asked what sides came with the duck, she gave us a blank stare and replied rice and peas. We found that amusing, since rice and peas are a Caribbean staple that we could get at any food shack in the Valley. When we asked if there was bread coming, she said no bread and hurried away. The table was set with balsamic and olive oil, appearing that bread should have been a part of the experience. What did eventually come was the two most uninspired dreadful dinners. Rice and peas would have been far better than over cooked duck in a strange brown "honey sauce", with mushy vegetables and a single, yes just 1 very sad soft piece of broccoli. My rack of lamb consisted of 3 very small rack chops with thyme sauce that was completely overpowered by kalmatta olives. And of course the lone piece of broccoli and vegetable mush.
The chef came out to laugh and talk with the table next to us, but never bothered with the few other guests.
The table on the other side of us returned at least 2 bottles of wine, complaining. Also, asking about bread. Not once were we checked on during our meal.
I was so disgusted by the service and awful food, that we skipped desert.

Terrible service. 4 out of 10ish cocktails were “rum punch” according to the bartender and simple cocktails like “sex on the beach” were not available. The Long Island iced tea had no coke and the rum punch we did order had the colour of toilet water and a strange taste. Would not recommend.

Dreadful service. Dreadful cocktails. Put a fence on the beach on New year's Eve to stop people who were not hotel guests mixing with all 5 WASPs.. probably the worst addition to Anguilla in since Viceroy.

What a Beautiful and Clean hotel with great food and service. Cant say enough great things about this place. We will be back. Probably one of the best beaches we have been to and we have been everywhere

The most BEAUTIFUL resort on Shoal Bay East..tastefully done with a French flair. This place is brand new and immaculate.. We will definitely be back, and recommend to all.
