Can't beat the ambiance, the boat rooms, this is what you paid for, the BBQ is average and has a 20mins wait. Its beach is connected to CuisinArt beach but not as well groom. Bankie Banx came out for 1/2 a song on a Sunday lunch, so we decided on his CD for $20. 15% service charge.

"Unique" totally describes Bankie Banx Dune Preserve. It's the beach shack vibe that you didn't know existed but really hope exists. We parked our car and met Bankie upon entry. There's reggae music, rum punch, nice people, and the sense of pure relaxation. You can't beat the beautiful beach view and the chicken and ribs were awesome. Everyone we spoke with in Anguilla and Sint. Maarten knows the dune preserve.

Have a once in a lifetime beach bar experience at Planet Dune! This place is the epitome of what a beach bar should be like. Everything is built out of driftwood and old pieces of scrap wood and metal, giving it a rustic and unique feel. Bankie Banx, the owner and legendary folk/reggae artist from Anguilla, will hang with you at the bar while you listen to the cool tunes of his CD's (unless he is playing live that is). Food is great too! They have seafood, ribs and chicken from the grill that comes served with rice, salad and some very special secret recipe sauces. The view of Rendezvous Bay and Sint Maarten is absolutely incredible and there is always a breeze coming through from the Anguilla channel. This place should be on everyone's bucket list. It will always be my first and last stop every time I visit Anguilla.

If you like to get stoned this is your place! If you're not stoned out of your gourd, it's basically sitting around and waiting forever for Bankie to play, which is like waiting for Axl Rose to come on stage. Maybe he'll play, maybe he wont. Bring a ton of cash for the overpriced drinks, their credit card machine is "not working"

Awesome times with Banxs and his crew. He was very accommodating taking pictures with people just don't touch the dog he nips. Introduced to this music made me go home and by a couple songs it was so good.

The Dune is a special place. The best time to go is Sunday afternoon and if you see Bankie go up on stage you'll be seeing one of the most talented musicians in the world. It's not just his voice - his work with the guitar and harmonica is incredible. And his words cut right to the truth about spirit, love and finding It. A must see. You'll never meet someone as talented as him (who should be as famous as Bob Marley) in such a low key setting. And the beach at Rendezvous is second to none. I lived in Anguilla and went every Sunday I could and then when I left all I listened to was Bankie. His music is really special. If you're complaining about the food, you're not listening to the music, which is why you should go. Listen to his songs, The Valley of our Fears, Spirit, Sons of God, Gypsy Rides, and Find It.
