University of the West Indies Open Campus is situated on the Queen Elizabeth Highway opposite to the Holberton Hospital and the Sir Luther Wynter Preschool in St, John's Antigua. This well kept and recently renovated facility just on the outskirts of the capital city and close to the main activity center of the country which includes the Parliament Building and several key important Government Ministries and Offices.

The University of the West Indies Open Campus is an local satellite campus so to speak of the University of the West Indies. Having said that I should add hastily that it also serves several other very important functions in Antiguan and Barbudan daily life especially in the area of academics and entertainment, yes I did say entertainment! The open Theatre used for events such as plays and dance recitals and other cultural/educational events, The University Library and Adult education classes making it possible for many Locals to earn University Credits. Certificates and Degrees Locally.

The staff of the University of the West Indies Open Campus are professional, friendly and helpful whilst maintaining an atmosphere of academic seriousness. I have had many rewarding interactions over the years and also enjoyed many theatrical performances as well. The University of the West Indies Open Campus has and will continue to play a pivotal in the National Development of Antigua and Barbuda.
