The St Peter's Anglican (Episcopal) Church is situated in the Village of Parham in the vicinity of the Parham Primary School on a slight incline with a scenic view of the surrounding areas. The Church also has a event hosting space below the building in what some may call a basement. The Historical and rather geometrically shaped building (Octagonal) is rather outstanding in its architecture and design. The St Peter's Church is a part of the landscape for that area of the Island and can be seen from great distances.
The ornate and well appointed interior with its lobby/foyer is aesthetically pleasing and please remember to look up while visiting, the ceiling is very intricately designed. The upper balcony seating do not see as much use as those below so over the years they have fallen into some disrepair. The well kept grounds with the floral accents and trees provides a breezy experience and is also part of the whole appeal of the facility.
The St Peter's Anglican (Episcopal) Church is a worthwhile place of interest for anyone in Antigua and the history, beauty and serenity of the location will welcome one and all.
I go to that church.
