  The Sawcolts Methodist Church is one of the Village Churches in the Sawcolts Village adjoining John Hughes area. The Sawcolts Methodist Church serves the methodist community of this area and the neighbouring areas, since it is slightly removed in location to other Methodist (none other miles around). In one of the more remote areas of Antigua, this countryside church enjoys great scenery and it is somewhat unheard-of so to speak.
  
  Build from the hard granite blackish stones found in the area this Church has a facade that is both striking and architecturally appealing at the same time. The building and grounds are well maintained and trees and flowers adorn the exterior giving a pleasant and inviting ambiance to the property.
  
  The Sawcolts Methodist Church is a great and Historic Building which has witnessed the many changing faces of Antiguan Village life.
