It's an all in hotel. Drinks are for free except water you have to pay for. That's a sick idea, but who cares? You have your own private beach here. The ocean is only a few meters away. There is a clean big swimming pool, free WiFi, the food is good and healthy. This is not high quality hotel, rooms are modest. But the view makes up for that. Really splendid!
Service is what you'd expect in a higher end hotel resort. Acomidations are great for the price. Make sure you get all inclusive.
This hotel is completely geared towards older italians (I guess we should've known being that it's Italian owned). Do not come here if other wise. Do not do the all inclusive! The food is horrible, but if you're a drinker you'd definitely get more bang for your buck (great bar staff). Great pool and nice beach. If you are looking for fun and excitement.. do not come here.
Ocean point is a beautiful hotel but my taxi which was booked by them to and from the hotel never arrived.
No apologies given. However, as I was leaving very earl next day they were good enough to pack my pre paid breakfast for me.
Ocean point is very expensive.
We really enjoyed our vacation at ocean point resort in mid February. This is a quiet and relaxing adults only place that was perfect for a long weekend getaway. The place is owned by Italians and is popular among Italian tourists. There is an Italian restaurant on premises, a bar, two lovely beaches, a place to play volleyball, a big swimming pool and lots of places to relax in a quiet environment. Make sure to bring plenty of cash with you when you go to Antigua. You will need it in case you want to leave the resort. Taxi drivers charge about $15 US dollars for a ride to the nearest ATM/supermarket and about $30-40 for a ride to another side of the island.
This place is just amazing! Great food and great treatment! The rooms are clean and the hotel is very well taken care!
Quiet adult only resort. Best for relaxing. Good beach but no water sports or activities. Located in a beautiful bay but a bit isolated from most of the island attractions. Taxis freely available
Amazing view. Romantic and quiet. Highly recommended.
Half of the place was undergoing renovations which no body told us before we booked , (i even communicated with the manager Ms ferrara before we booked via e-mail ] ,for all inclusive even for gold bands guests ,there is nothing much from buffet, and its almost repetitive food and if you want to get from a la carte menu its expensive so why go for all inclusive, they even charged $ 3.75 for two water bottles we had at the restaurant, at least i was expecting lady at the check out desk at least say that you stayed with us for four days as a gold band guest its ok for this price its was overrated, we have stayed another resort on the island, which was perfect place only this time that was closed for a month, i would not recommend this to any one going there { oh yes ,the shower in the room was suitable for only 5 years old not for grown ups , you can't fit in that shower if you a grown up person}
Very Pleasant Beach club Italian management so you can be sure of quality. Top. we are having grilled lobster and looks really nice with grilled veggies on the side that's some rice by the seaside very relaxed Ambience very elegant but with a very good atmosphere idea for a romantic couple dinner maybe a little expensive but definitely worth especially if you're staying in an all-inclusive low-cost Resort
I loved this place. You can really feel like home. Thank u
On beach location with a pool. Resort primarily caters to Italian nationals visiting Antigua. If you don't have a meal plan included the buffet is $32 pp. kind of overpriced. Rooms were cleaned and a nice size. 15 minute drive from airport.
Very nice and peaceful and the staff is very friendly
This is a tough review to write. First and foremost, the staff was excellent, but that's where the enjoyment ended. The buffet food was repetative and not especially good. If you do go, stick to the pasta dishes (which are made by an Italian chef) - they are okay. There is NOTHING to do except sit on the beach or sit by the pool... or sit in your unappointed room.
I even asked if I could rent anything, anywhere (boats, kayaks, snorkeling gear). The lady at the tour desk said, "I don't know. Maybe if you go to the next town over, you *might* find something."
There is nothing within walking distance.
Lovely hotel in good location (only 10 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from St Johns)
The room was spacious and very clean with great views out over the Atlantic.
The new restaurant served great Italian food and the bar had an extensive range of spirits and cocktails.Going all inclusive made this a very affordable resort - although a-la-carte pricing is steep.
The only downside to this hotel was the sheer number of Italian guests who seemed to place themselves and their importance above all non-Italian guests!
