Maiden Island is situated in the Five Islands Harbour and is visible from various Vantage points most notably Hermitage Bay and from the Five Islands Harbour itself. I must note that there is another Maiden Island close to Long Island in the North of Antigua which is not the subject of this review.
Maiden Island is a sizable island in the Five Islands Harbour with lots of vegetation and a building of some sort can be seen from some angles. Surrounded by the calmer waters of the harbour, the island is well placed for relaxation and enjoyment of the surrounding vistas and the spectacular sunset in the late afternoon. I can not comment on weather the island is public or private however this island like many others is only accessible from the sea (or air, certainly not by land). Having never setting foot thereon I reserve comment on the actual topography or geography and geology of the island.
The Maiden Island is certainly an interesting part of the seascape in the Five Islands Harbour and the Surrounding areas.
