Jolly Harbour is the Marine Community and Residential areas located in the southern regions of Antigua. Within close proximity to the Jolly Beach Club and spa, Castaways and the Jolly Castle Hotel on one end and the Hermitage Hotel on the other end. It copies a reasonably generous geographic region and consists of among other things; The Jolly Harbour Marina, The Jolly Harbour Golf Course and Jolly Harbour Boar Yard.

The area has benefited from some decentralization, resulting in many businesses that are in the city also has a Jolly Harbour Branch. There are many unique business in the area as well with rental accommodation and private villas both ocean front with private cocks or ocean front directly on the beach.all with spectacular views. The area is constantly being modernized,, expanded and upgraded to meet the present and perceived future demands and I must say that sadly some business that were popular in the past are out of business. The buggy (golf carts) are a feature of the area and they provide the residence a way to travel the vast expanses of the area and to conduct business in a more convenient manner..

The Jolly Harbour area is quite popular with yachts and it is also a port of entry for Antigua and Barbuda. The area can be accessed by sea or land and the lagoon now forms a sheltered port with many modern amenities and conveniences.. The Marina area with shops, businesses and offices nearby has proven to be a winning combination for all concerned. Jolly Harbour is definitely a worthwhile stop on any itinerary and visitors and guests will be able to experience a wide range of fun filled adventures.

The atmosphere is very festive and a big party. This stuff is very friendly and always wanting to help you. The beach is one of the better beaches. Has a wide white sand beach with the shallow Waters as well as two pools one for adults and the other for both kids and adults with a swim-up bar. Nightly entertainment has been excellent. Rooms are a tad small but well-kept. We'll come back here in the future.

Water problems and golf course in poor condition. That aside good ambience and lots of good eating choices. Beach and sea lovely. Great facilities for yachties. Good supermarket. It's quirkiness is it's charm.

Nice anchorage. Activities ashore. BUT the beach has a rough landing because of ground swell and surge.

The beach is the best thing about this hotel it really is a tropical paradise. If you want a fantastic unspoilt beach about a mile long with beatiful views then this is the place to go. Hotel good, food great, all rooms have pool and beach view. ONLY down side is that the rooms are very dated and can be noisy.

Have been spending winters here for last eight years. We usually are hear for a couple of months. Hence we live an expatriates life, not a tourist. That said it ticks all the boxes. Great harbour and beach. Easy access to St Johns if you want to visit and use its excelent facilities. The way to go is use the busses. I

Beautiful beach.but like mostly every island I've visited in the Carribbean, be prepared to be solicited for taxis, chairs, snacks, drinks, massages, jetskis, etc etc. I like to be left alone and when I want something like that I have no problem getting it myself!

Good for families. However, the locals push to sell activities and goods pretty hard. Keep the kids away from AJ, he sells green and white.
