This place is really pricey but it makes up for it with friendly and attentive service, gorgeous views and some really amazing food. If possible, have their duck breast which is cooked to melt-in-your-mouth perfection on a bed of mash. Less exciting menu items like the burger are nice enough but may leave you feeling a bit silly given the price paid.
Good for lunch where you can look out on the sunny beach and sea which the restaurant opens out into, whilst still enjoying the shade.
Lance and Tony are wonderful! Delicious food, incredible service, relaxing and beautiful beach. We ended up spending a whole day here and loved every minute of it.
Amazing venue and incredible food and service. It's an absolute must if you visit Antigua and want a relaxing treat. Highly recommend.
Probably the best restaurant in Antigua, come in the afternoon for the beach with gentle waves and loungers, have cocktails brought to you and stay for the incredible sunset, then afterward walk 50 feet back up for a terrific dinner. More fresh seafood than other restaurants on the island, a bartender that invents the most delicious drinks, a staff and decor that only enhances your experience, and a wonderful European spin on island food, all in a quiet spot right on the beach.
Wonderful experience with the big beds on the beach. Very comfortable and had it for 10 US . Food is delicious although I think they shouldn't be serving Parrot fish. Great location. Highly recommend.
Good food, drink and service in a great location. Book first but they try their best to fit you in if possible.
Awesome owner, great food, service from the staff was mediocre at best, took 20 minutes to get a bill, will be back though
Lovely food, great spot on the beach and great cocktails. The place is pretentious. Service is lusting after fine dining and on the dinner line between attentive and discreet falls firmly on the attentive side. Still it's a great way to spend a day on the beach in Antigua.
It was a wonderful piece of paradise cut loose and put on Antigua. Excellent meet and greet by the owner and senior staff. First class location and menu very well put together. It's pricy. Perhaps the most expensive place in the Caribbean. 135 dollars for a burger with the biggest piece of goose liver I have ever had. The chips were soft. I would have prefered them hard. But that's a chef's privilege to decide. Dipped in truffel sauce the were excellent.
But all in all it left a foul feeling afterwards.
I asked how much the beach bed was. Stephan said 9 dollars, it ended up costing 25 when I got the receipt. The drinks were said to cost 8 or 9 dollars but cost 25-35 on the receipt. The water S. Pellegrino was 18 dollars and we had four in the beach bed.
Nothing against the service, nothing against the place but hate being seduced and tricked intentionally or not. I didn't make a fuss at payment, felt I shouldn't have to. I paid but decided to write an honest review.
You need to spend a good few hours here. Arrive early to get an on beach cabana. Have a swim and a cocktail before lunch and expect to take at least an hour having a very leisurely lunch followed by a siesta in your cabana. Stay for the sunset with another cocktail. The memory will last with you for a long time.
Wow!! Just wow!! The view is amazing and the food is unbelievable. Make sure you get the foie gra burger.
Excellent food, lovely setting
Amazing experience, I would recommend to anyone. The team couldn't do enough to make you feel at home on the beach and at the bar. Dinner was top class.
Phenomenal. The food is truly five star, the staff deserve even more. David makes the best original infusion drinks this side of the world. Lance is a pleasure. The beach and the beds are the icing on the cake here... This really is the best Antigua had to offer. Not to be missed and will with the price.
Brilliant service ! Excellent food ! Nicest people encountered on the island
