We were the only guests the night we were there (midweek out of season). Food very good, good location on a lively corner of St Johns (it's on the first floor) and lovely staff.

I love the chill-out balcony at the Hemingway, overlooking St.Mary's street. People love to look at people, specially when we and them have a good time. Its a great Cafe, with a lot of character. what brings you back in the seat of this historic writer. Just limber away and daydream a bit while you are there with your favorite drink to get you in the right mood.

Great place for people watching close to the port. Seating on the veranda has great views. Food is fresh and well cooked.

Great drinks!! The Hemingway’s Special is fantastic!! Great balance of rum and coconut!!! Good atmosphere and food! The only thing our party of 8 did not like was the owners attitude! She was very pushy when you went into the restaurant. To more than one of us she approached and said “are you going to buy something?” Other than this it was good!!

Food was great. A lil over price. And my server(might have been one of the owners) was amazing but the other staff are NOT welcoming at all. I spent almost 500 ec. I expected better.

Very good food, loved the curried conch in a roti. In the heart of downtown St. John's. Parking was "challenging".

Hemingways is a safe harbour, nice food at good prices and one of a good English breakfast venue. These people will look after you.

Located upstairs the staff are welcoming and the atmosphere friendly. They offer excellent coffee and have a full breakfast menu. The blueberry pancakes are a must. We returned for lunch and sat outside on the covered terrace. A great range of reasonably priced items including burgers, blts, club sandwiches etc. Very close to the cruise ship dock.

Hemingway’s is located in the traditional green and white wooden building overlooking St. Mary’s Street and Redcliffe Quay in St. John’s – Antigua’s capital. This West Indian styled wooden structure was once a well known hotel called Jardine’s. Built in the early 1800’s it is a perfect example of the kind of place frequented by the celebrated author.
Their cool verandah terrace overlooks the street and is an ideal place to have a drink or something to eat while shopping or waiting for your taxi.
For lunch, choose from soups, salads, sandwiches and island seafood specialties, including local lobster.

In the evening, the best Creole Cuisine, fresh Caribbean seafood dishes and choice US steaks are available.
