The Historic Freetown Methodist church stands on a central hill in Freetown village as a landmark and indeed a beacon in the community. The church building, the other structures and the cemetery close-by in the valley all form part of the whole property. The Methodist Church building and grounds are well maintained and parking is available right next to the building since it is on the roadside on the hilltop (if that makes sense).

The spectacular interior of the building belies it outside stone appearance and provide a comfortable and spacious ambiance in attractive surroundings. This Church has been the venue for many life events (Christenings, Confirmations, Marriages to name a few) over the years and one can't help but feel a part of living history.

Definitely a worthwhile place to visit for a service or an event or just to relive the history of the area.
