  It was the best vacation we've ever taken, with Disney World in 2nd place - we're big kids at heart. Everyone on staff made us feel like we were the only guests at the resort, and the resort itself is breathtaking! Oh, and the food!!! I had hoped for decent and tasty, but it was phenomenal. I had the best fried calamari in my life - not rubbery at all, almost buttery in texture - *muah*! There was a mix up in our reservations, some miscommunication between the travel site and the hotel, but the manager took full responsibility. They were booked the day we arrived. So, they sent us to their sister hotel, which was nice, but not as indulgent as the Cocos. Then they brought us back the next day, to an upgraded cottage with it's own plunge pool! They upgraded our 30 minute massages to an hour each; paid for a personal taxi for us to have a night on the town; and were very apologetic for the mix-up. Although we were sad at first, they more than made up for the inconvenience at the start of our stay. We would stay there again and again, but we'll save up and be sure we get the plunge pool, hopefully without any mix-ups. Thanks Cocos staff for an excellent vacation!!!
