  I was a student at the Faculty of Engineering, Kabul, for my first and second years of the university. After that I transferred to Washington University School of Engineering, St. Louis, Missouri, USA. I could not believe how prepared I was.
  The emphasis in Kabul University was more towards applied sciences whereas in Washington University, it was more towards research. Subjects such as statics, dynamics, surveying, structures, transmission lines, CA'D/CAM were required courses.
  Professors mostly came from USA, India, and Afghanistan. Consortium USA universities included Purdue University, Carnegie Melon, North Carolina State, and Washington University, St Louis. The one from India included IIT Kanpur.

  Kabul University, you can call it the best university in Afghanistan but unfortunately due to the political and ethnic issues it has created a lot of problems for students and for the teachers working and teaching and studying. it is a very beautiful environment where you can feel like you're in Georgetown University of Washington DC or Maryland University but because of the security concerns and also some other cultural issues it's very difficult to go there and study with group or with classmates. I wish one day in the future maybe in 10 years or later this University somehow become standardized and very good environment for the students from Afghanistan but even from other countries where they can come and study, exchange programs. I have heard that because of the many issues including sexual harassment and fundamentalism issues and conflicts this university has been doing a lot damage than good work. but still the environment is perfect place to do and it's far more better than any Universities in Afghanistan because it's in. Capital in Kabul.

  This is supposed to be Kabul Pohntoon but bcoz of Tajik Iranian Proxies kharzobans it has become Danishgah, poor fascists..!!
