The majestic Herat fort was built during the Alexandrian era.
The citadel is still in visibly good condition.
Thanks to the local government authorities.
Summers could be very harsh here in the outdoors of the citadel.
But winters are snowy.
A good place to visit for the history lover's. The best time to visit is Monday's.

What can you say about this place. It's mammoth, it's charming it's huge yet it is magnificent. Herat Citadel. Probably the best place to spend your valuable time at Herat Afghanistan. It has ancient Afghanistan build structure. Must visit

Visiting Herat Citadel is one of the musts. The historical architecture and combination of building materials are unique. Inside the Citadel, you will visit a museum of historical elements. There, in Herat you find kind hearts and hospitality among the citizens. Most of the times there are festivals held inside the Citadel which will make visiting there more exciting with life cultural and local musics. I was so lucky that I visit here in such a day and night. 🍀❤️
