  Spent most of '08 there. Being in the 3-shop, I to had a pretty small bubble & didn't see much of it in the daytime. I'm really surprised that people are reviewing FOBs, but I guess that's the world now. Kandahar was better, but I was there before that entire prison escaped. 2-506 IN, Currahee

  OEF10 -Where the front line warriors would go to relax. (I was at FOB TIllman & Cop Munoz. "In-Country R&R" was going to FOB Orgun-E for a day or two to relax.)

  Was there in 05 - 06 w/ Bravo Co. 391st Light Combat Engineers. Good times, Good memories, Hard living. Freezing Cold Showers.

  First off, Tony B the INDIRECT fire couldnt have come from Pakistan for 2 reasons. First, Orgun is more than 30 K from the border with Pakistan. And number 2, its east to Pakistan, not west. Hmmmmm

  2002 and 2004 was just a small building with hescos. Rough nightly inderect fire and small arms crom Paki mountains to the west. Good haji market with great kabobs if you're dari g enough and plenty of live chicken.
