The Embassy of the United States of America in Kabul was the official diplomatic mission of the United States of America to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. The embassy was housed in a chancery located on Great Massoud Road in the Wazir Akbar Khanneighborhood of the Afghan capital, Kabul, and was built at a cost of nearly $800 million.[1] On August 15, 2021, in the face of a Taliban advance on Kabul, embassy staff relocated to makeshift but secure facilities at Hamid Karzai International Airport. Kabul felland the chancery building officially closed late August 15.

The embassy did not have an official Senate-confirmed ambassador at the time of the Taliban takeover; the final head of the mission in Afghanistan was Chargé d'Affaires Ross Wilson. On August 31, 2021, the embassy suspended operations in Afghanistan and transferred operations to Doha, Qatar, with former deputy chief of mission Ian McCaryserving as Chargé d'Affaires. The U.S. Interests Section at the Embassy of Qatar in Kabul was established as the protecting power of the U.S. in Afghanistan on December 31.response / report this review -

To the staff manager's attention!
The staff working in the embassy are not well educated on how to behave while on duty, made a call from California concerning a case and situation and a guy answered with an attitude of unprofessional, they need to hire well educated people who know where they work, the taxpayers hardwork must be on the right place and right staff instead of wasting on a bunch of nutjobs.response / report this review -

Very poor rating my fiance had a interview for K1 fiance visa. Only 1 out of 13 couples in the last 2 years has received a visa. The rest have either been denied or placed in Administrative Process. When my fiance went to the interview they handed him a form refusal with a work visa related refusal code. Then when I called to check the status they have it as placed in Administrative review. They have yet to email me or by standard mail give a proper notification as to the results of his interview. The only ones in 3 years to receive a visa seems to be only females ad not males.

On the shore dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner, O long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion,
