I think the review before says it all. Firstly the welcome desk office free champagne to some but not all guests. When we asked how to buy some they said it was AED 250 per glass 😱.
Then the boats. The organization was terrible. One boat came which seats no more than 14 people yet there was 30 people waiting in the center. This created a dash for seats and only the lucky few people who saw what was happening were saved waiting an extra hour.
Poor management for something that could be so simple.
Very bad experience, look elsewhere (e.g. Saadiyat Beach Club or Emirates Palace Beach Club). I am quite surprised by the number of positive reviews, as this place really miss the basics. We booked a daily pass worth circa 400 AED. The day started with the receptionist telling us she could no find our booking - note that they called me 3 times the day before in order to confirm and be sure we were coming. Then, our boat trip to the island was delayed by almost 1 hour (from 10.30 to 11.20), due to overbooking - and we were waiting from 9.50. Once on the island, our bad experience continued. Firstly, totally lack of coordination and management: you have to tell the waiters where you are heading to (basically, next restaurant) so they can move the bill, and a simple "split the bill" seemed extremely complicated. The waiters seem inexperienced, e.g. they couldn't even provide basic information about the food they are serving, at the beach they never brough napkins with food (4 orders), they could not remember our order and then our name (necessary for the bill). At the "Library Cellar" lounge there were refreshments, but no glasses at all - we had to ask 4 times and the glasses came only after 30 minutes. Secondly, the facilities: the main beach is only 20 meters, and very crowded - we couldn't even find a spot and we had to take some chairs. Its swimming pool is not that big, and was crowded as well. The second beach is basically for watersports and can accomodate very few guests (all spots taken), and it's just few meters long. A private island that can't provide a spot to their guests? Then, the food: it was really below the average you would expect from such a place (tried the fresh sea food restaurant and the mexican restaurant). The cocktails were almost analcolic and the glass of sauvignon was not good at all. The only positive aspect was the water quality, which is definetively better than the one in Dubai, Yas Island or Saadiyat. Overall, extremely unsatisfaied
Awesome job with nurai ISLAND
Too bad welcoming procedures. A security guard is doing the receptionist job! Disappointing!
Just an ordinary meeting point. Nothing special. Should have at least some refreshments for the guests who must wait around 1 hour between each boat journies.
Air conditioned and has some nice refreshments. Be sure to enjoy the cool air before the boat ride over!
It is sea in side every week I m going this place bcz my delivery there
Great little welcome centre. Coffee (good coffee) and sweets avaliable before you get on the boat to zoom over to the Island.
your stop to reach Nurai island you can miss it ..small sign
