As far as I'm concerned, these guys are redefining value for money in a city that's best known for quite the opposite - and are running a tight ship while at it!
While hole-in-the-wall karak (tea) places are a dime a dozen in Abu Dhabi, few (if any) other establishments can rival this outlet when it comes to quality - quality in every respect; taste, freshness of ingredients, concept, service, hygiene - everything. Speaking of menu offerings, and perhaps most importantly, the 'Special tea' here is absolutely Wicked - the use of fresh milk instead of the evaporated canned variety used elsewhere, does wonders to bring out the tea's essential flavor - without unnecessary sweetness (FINALLY!). It's still quite sweet due to much sugar, and so I always ask to have it toned down. Highly recommended.
We've also sampled a few options from the food menu here, and find ourselves returning most often for their 'Yalla Shay special burger' and the breakfast platter (served all day) - attached are pictures fyr. The burger really punches wayy above its weight class, and is a steal deal at just AED 12. The breakfast too is very comprehensive and not lacking in flavor either. Momos are great too (and incomprehensibly inexpensive while at it), but take up to 30 mins to be prepared - so ideally order ahead before visiting.
All in all, its the (rare) cafés like these that do much to shape our perceptions of value in a city otherwise polluted with one too many overpriced, overhyped eateries - in their success lies proof of what is indeed possible when a high volume, low margins' approach is employed. Undeniably, businesses of this kind benefit the largest possible contingent of people per $ moved - and for that reason, I'm more than keen on giving them my business practically everyday (and thus contributing to this ecosystem), rather than patronizing corporate greed by dining at 'ridiculously-high' margin restos. Kudos to the ownership here, and I wish them incredible success with this venture!response / report this review -

Alhamdulillah! One of the best zafarani tea; at reasonable prices. People are fond of it and they treat their customer in well manner but it is not accessible to physically challenged people but they will do delivery for them.
