It was built as a memorial for Emiratis that passed away on military duty. It has a beautiful view of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, tranquil gardens and places to sit and take it all in. There is also a very informative visitors centre.

Nice and calm place.
U will see the reflection of the complete Grand Mosque.
Great place to spent time with family and friends.
Large stone attraction.
Kids can enjoy the wide space.

Great views of the great mosque. There is also a reflection pool.
Especially at dusk one can take some amazing pictures.
Further, there is an artificial creek meandering through the large leaning planks leading to a small pavilion.

A beautiful memorial for soldiers.

A nice memorial park/mausoleum built in honour and remembrance of the fallen heroes of the UAE with their names inscribed.
Guides show guests around from 9am to 10pm weekdays.

It's a really nice memorial site. It has a reflecting pool and you can capture incredible pictures of the Sheikh Grand Mosque across the street.

A wonderful spot to take the morning or evening shot of the sheikh grand mosque, same time memorial of the 1988 Wahat Al Karama is a permanent tribute to UAE’s brave soldiers and other Emiratis who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving the Nation.Wahat Al Karama is a place where citizens, residents and visitors to the UAE can pay homage to those who selflessly gave their life to a cause greater than themselves. They will continue to inspire us, and we will keep their memories alive through this memorial.

Stunning place to visit, especially in the evening around sunset & prayer call. It's a very atmospheric place that demands humility & respect. Well worth a visit if you happen to be in Abu Dhabi.

A war memorial built in honour of the fallen soldiers. They have guided tours too. It's right opposite the sheikh Zayed grand mosque, you can spend 20 -30 minutes here.

Your local AbuDhabi city guide likes this place. Memorial for our Heroes in UAE who sacrifice their lives for the country and the region. Peaceful and so much to learn from this memorial. Visited as part of the tour guide workshop to introduce this new attraction. A place to pay respect so required to wear modesty and no food allowed. For visit contact me.
